Just about every school aims to provide an environment where educators, students, and faculty can openly go about their business without feeling uncomfortable or unsure in any way. This starts with being open to everyone’s ideas and not excluding the wide range of varying perspectives that are present.
Another way of fostering this type of accepting environment is through safety. Promoting safety is a great way to let people on campus know that they, along with their ideas and beliefs, are safe and as welcome as any other individual’s. Making your campus safe protects the well-being of everyone, and enables people to freely communicate their unique ideas, which truly allows them to be themselves.
Whats the best way to make your campus safe? With campus safety of course! California Baptist University recognizes this and has a Campus Safety Service that promotes a safe and secure environment supporting their mission statement. In order to create a distinct look for their Campus Safety Services, CBU came to us for a vehicle wrap!
We began the wrap by making the car matte blue. Blue and black are the standard colors of law enforcement, so making the whole vehicle this color will make it distinguishable to anyone who sees this car on campus. CBU Safety Services is written across each side of the car over the doors, with their lancer logo right behind it. The phrase “service, safety, security” is on each side of the rear bumper, and their phone number is on the trunk.
Seeing this car around campus is a constant reminder of safety in action, improving the overall environment of CBU as a school, but more importantly as an open community.
