“Nice shades, dude.” Whether they’re Oakley’s, Ray Ban’s….you name it, sunglasses come in different varieties from different companies so its easy to find a style or pair that fit your look. Look is one part of finding the right pair of shades, but functionality, thats a whole different story. It’s easy to find polarized, sport, lifestyle, and active sunglasses, but what happens when these classifications don’t do what you need them to do for your eyes? Get rid of ‘em and try a new pair? Look through the market for a solution? These seem like viable options, but what if the market as a whole doesn’t address your needs in a pair of sunglasses? Now you’re really stuck at the corner of help me and nothing is working.
Fortunately, this problem has been encountered by a group fisherman who often found their sunglasses weren’t as extreme as the adventures they frequently went on, so they began looking for a solution. Ensuring the clarity of their vision and the protection of their eyes against all elements were the two biggest guidelines in finding the right pair of sunglasses for these fisherman. They scoured the market looking for the shades that would do the trick, but nothing provided enough clarity and protection. Push came to shove, and these group of fisherman created Costa Del Mar, a sunglass company that strives on creating the clearest, most protecting sunglasses for those who are always on the water and have to deal with the brightness of the sun and the intense glares on the water that are created by the sun.
The innovation doesn’t stop at providing great protection and clarity, Costa sunglasses are also engineered to be able to see into the sea water, which puts fisherman and anglers at an advantage because they can see fish in the water clearer and deeper than ever before.
With products that promote clarity and protection, we wanted to make sure we provided Costa Del Mar with a solution that was crystal clear. Needing a wrap for both their nitro bass boat and their truck, we kept them living on water, right where they belong! For the truck, the wrap starts at the truck bed with a dark blue and fades lighter and lighter with effects detailed in making a large water ripple in the ocean along the side of the truck. The water fades to a very light blue/aqua and stops at the back of the hood, with the hood being white. Smack dab in the middle of it all is the Costa logo covering the two doors
For the nitro bass boat, the same rippled ocean effect is used with lighter hues of aqua going across the boat. The back of the boat starts with a dark blue, and the aqua slowly begins to fade in until we reach the front of the boat which is all white. Alongside the boat the Costa Del Mar logo is present in white to show everyone which team they’re apart of.
Together these two wraps create a great image for the Costa Del Mar fishing team and provide the perfect distinguishable look for the team when they compete in pro bass fishing tournaments.
