What’s big and red and something you never want to get in the way of? A firetruck? Clifford the Big Red Dog? Yeah, those both fit the criteria and I would be terrified for my life if either was coming at any speed, but that’s not quite what we’re looking for. As much as I’d love this big and red force to be an oversized, loveable dog, our big red force goes by the name Toyota Tundra.
This Tundra was brought to us by the people of Oakley, and they were looking for a wrap to give this truck the look they wanted for their Oakley Standard Issue line. The Standard Issue line at Oakley is reserved for government and military personnel, providing them with a discount as well as equipment specially made for their line of work.
Whether they be testing, training, or out in combat, the job of the armed forces is not easy by any means, and Oakley has supported them with equipment that has improved soldiers’ comfort, performance, and most importantly, their safety. Oakley has been working with the US Armed Forces since 1980, and since this partnership has begun significant strides have been made in equipment quality and performance given the technology Oakley has implemented.
With all the work Oakley does in supporting our troops with their equipment, we were eager to help Oakley when they came to us looking for a truck wrap. Going for a simpler look, we wrapped the front of the tundra in black with the Oakley logo on the hood. The Oakley logo was also put above the back two wheel wells on the truck bed, and the back of the truck bed has the Oakley logo as well as a few rows of skulls and crossbones. Nicknamed the “Red Baron” this truck is one you won’t miss driving down the street.
