QR codes are the new industry trend it seems.
We recently did a wrap featuring a QR code.
First off for those that don’t know what a QR code is, it stands for quick response code. It is basically a type of barcode that can link directly to a webpage, or enable certain features on the device that is reading it, such as opening up email. All you need to read a QR code is a camera-enabled phone that has a QR scanner program or app, most smartphones these days are capable of this.
Now that you know what a QR code is you may be asking yourself how would this be useful on my next wrap? QR codes can be used for many things on your next vehicle wrap. You can use it to link to a special web page or offer that you want to give. You can direct people to your different social media outlets. You could even use it to judge the effectiveness and visibility of your next car wrap. You could link the QR code to a specific page (maybe a special offer page or discount page as incentive) and by tracking how many people scanned the code and accessed the page with the offer, you can judge the visibility of your wrap.
So consider adding a QR code to your next vehicle wrap!
